Shutting Down the ALICE Receptionist Directory

Shutdown Button –The hidden shutdown button is located in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. By pressing this area eight to ten times in a row, the ARD The ALICE interface that appears on the ALICE Kiosk in your Lobby, also known as the ALICE Receptionist Directory will close and give the user access to the Windows desktop.

A security pin can be added to prevent access to the Windows desktop. This pin can be set in the Advanced Options of the ALICE Directory Configuration tool. For details, view the Advanced Options section.
